The program will focus on personal bests and set youth up for success in the full Swim Club and/or achieving their individual goals. ![]() The Sea Dragons Stroke Proficiency Club is designed for youth ages 7-14 yrs looking to transition into the full Sea Dragons Swim Club, and/or those hoping to improve their stroke technique whilst getting introduced to dives and turns. Pre-requisite: All swimmers must be able to swim 25m of a recognizable stroke then tread water for 30 seconds, all in deep water without assistance. We emphasize skill development based on personal-best achievement, speed, endurance, and most importantly – fun! Our goal is to help instil a lifetime passion for aquatics and spark a higher interest in lifesaving. Our knowledgeable coaches will help elevate your stroke technique, develop the necessary physical skills required to succeed in leadership courses, and introduce you to Lifesaving Sport. The Sea Dragons Lifesaving Club is directed towards youth ages 8-17yrs caught between levels hoping to reignite their passion for swimming! The summer club is perfect for those looking to prepare for the physical standards tested in the Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, and National Lifeguard certification courses.
